Guy Scott has 20 years experience in providing great quality fish to the Yorkshire area. His passion for fresh fish can be traced to his childhood, when he first became fascinated with the quality and variety found in the fishmonger's shop. He's proud to say that he's still learning, and that is knowledge of fish and food is expanding day by day.
Today, Scotts Fish is a family run business operating from the wonderful market town of Pocklington, and is looking forward to the future.

Why Vacuum Pack? We all know how quickly unprotected fish sucumbs to 'freezer burning', which leaves even the freshest and nicest fish brittle and tasteless. At Scotts Fish, we individually vacuum pack your fish, making it ideal for freezing, and allowing it to retain it's texture, flavour and quality so that it's absolutely perfect when you sit down to eat it - as well as making it remarkably quick and easy to defrost and prepare!
Defrosting Vacuum Packed Fish As well as all the benefits to taste, texture and quality, vacuum packed fish is much easier to prepare. Gone are the days of leaving tommorow's meal to defrost overnight, and no more tedious forward-planning. With vacuum packed fish all you need do is remove it from the freezer an hour before you're ready to use it by placing the whole package in cold water. Easy!
